What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to keep you signed in, to protect forms against abuse, and - only with your permission - to measure how the site is used.
Necessary cookies
These are always set, because the site cannot work without them.
- Session cookie - keeps you signed in and remembers form state. Expires when your session ends.
- XSRF-TOKEN - protects forms against cross-site request forgery.
- facca.cookie-consent - stored in your browser to remember the choice you make below. This is local storage, not a cookie sent to us.
- Google reCAPTCHA - blocks automated abuse of the contact form. It is loaded only on the contact page, not while you browse the rest of the site.
Statistics cookies (optional)
If you accept, we load Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled to see which pages are visited and how people move through the site. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell the data. If you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded and sets no cookies at all.
- _ga - tells returning visits apart. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_<id> - keeps the state of the current visit. Expires after 2 years.
The map on our contact page
The map showing where to find us is served by Google, which means loading it tells Google your IP address. Nothing is requested until you allow it: if you have accepted statistics cookies the map loads with the page, and otherwise you see a still placeholder with a Show map button that loads it for that visit only. You can always use the link next to it to open Google Maps in a new tab instead.

Who receives the data
Google Ireland Limited, for analytics, the map and the spam protection on our contact form; Google may process the data outside the EU/EEA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Errors on the site are reported to Sentry, which is told what went wrong but not who you are. Our privacy policy covers this in full.
