So, what is Power-to-X technology, and what makes it important?
Power-to-X can solve some of the massive problems in the global economy
During the past years, companies and governments from all over the world have been heavily investing in renewable energy. However, in the quest to decarbonize the global economy, fossil fuel use in industry and transportation remains one of the biggest obstacles. Power-to-X technology provides a solution for this massive problem, by transforming the surplus energy (Power) that arises when the supply of renewable energy surpasses the demand for useful fuels and chemicals (“X”).
Renewable hydrogen and e-fuels at scale are critical to fully decarbonizing our society, as it is the only known route to decarbonizing large parts of our heavy industry and transportation to make it to just 1.5°C by end-century.

To explore this technological adventure, we hope you will join us for an exciting, informative, and interactive event at Aarhus BSS. We are excited to announce the participation of our partners Ørsted and McKinsey & Company who will provide real and practical insights into how we can succeed with this technology.
The event will kick off at 17:00 on March 24 at Aarhus BSS. At the event, Ørsted will present the Power-to-X technology, and how they are working with it today. Afterward, McKinsey will present how it is relevant in the field of management consulting, and what future perspectives they see in the technology. After the presentations, Ørsted and McKinsey will take part in an interactive panel debate, where they will also answer questions from the audience.
