Climate changes and sustainability have been on the agenda for decades and are progressively important issues. The evidence for global warming caused by carbon dioxide is becoming more and more convincing and the complexity of the issue does not make it easier to solve the problem where the solution ought to pivot around sustainability. Re-thinking, re-formulating, and re-doing habits are required to ensure sustainable business practices now and in the future.
To this end, the global fashion industry has been an engine for global development and sustainable progression. Awareness is growing and companies are optimizing business practices to limit their negative environmental impact. However, in order to maintain its current growth trajectory, the fashion industry needs to continue to address its environmental and social footprint.
The event will kick off at 17.00 on May 4 at Aarhus BSS. At the event, BCG will present the general importance of sustainability in the field of management consulting. Afterwards, Bestseller will present how they approach with sustainability in the fashion industry.
The event is free to attend, and we will serve a light dinner and drinks after the presentations. At the end of the event, there will be an opportunity to network with fellow students and professionals from BCG and Bestseller.
